Who wants a sonic screwdriver or talking dalek? The Mundt Library is holding a Dr. Who photo contest. DSU students, faculty, and staff are eligible to enter and win.
Submissions will be accepted and judging will take place on the library’s Facebook page. http://www.facebook.com/inthemundt
There will be two categories of judging:
- Library TARDIS: Photos should showcase the library’s create-your-own-TARDIS in an interesting/exciting/unique location. Unaltered photos only in this category. No Photoshop, please. (If you need a library TARDIS, stop by the front desk of the library.)
- Dr. Who Open: Any photo/image inspired by the Dr. Who series. Photoshop is allowed in this category.
(Tip, early submissions will have more time to collect likes/votes.)
Full details and rules can be found under Notes on the library’s Facebook page.
Questions? Contact librarian Mary Francis.
The contest is held in conjunction with this year's TARDIS theme for the "roving librarians" who are spending an hour each week in each campus classroom building and the TC. Like the TARDIS, the Mundt Library is "bigger than it looks from the outside." Not only do you have access to all that is on the open Internet, but also the Library pays for and provides access to a huge quantity of additional material in the deep web, in print, and by borrowing from other libraries. We're here for you!
